WHAT IS OUR CORE ACTIVITY?
The Foundation’s core activity is Policy – Advocacy and Lobbying which seeks to raise issues, participate in and influence Government policy formulation and implementation in favour of the private sector. This activity is organized around the following themes:

i. Policy Research – to conduct independent and evidence based research on policy matters affecting the private sector and engage with the Government during the policy formulation and implementation processes and to ensure that the private sector inputs are taken on board;

ii. Private Public Dialogue- covering policy and advocacy/lobbying initiatives on issues enabling the business investment environment such as taxation, infrastructure and sector-specific issues such as trade, tourism, agriculture etc. In the latter set of issues TPSF seeks to add value to and support the work of its constituent members;

iii. The National Business Forum - a platform for development and implementation of the policy impact agenda. This is the arena where evidence based researched policy issues are raised by the Private Sector and are considered by the government to reform. After, impact assessment is conducted to assess the impact of the dialogue and advocacy efforts with the Government.
